JambSmartPrep helps Nigerian students prepare for JAMB UTME, WAEC and NECO through timed CBT practice with real past questions and clear, honest exam guides.

Why we built JambSmartPrep

Every year, more than a million candidates sit the UTME on a computer, many of them for the first time. Plenty of students know their subjects but lose marks to the format itself: an unfamiliar screen, a running clock, a question grid and no paper to scribble on.

JambSmartPrep was started by Freya Amelia to close that gap. She is a web developer who builds exam-practice tools for Nigerian students, including the WAEC practice site waeccbt.com.

After watching capable students lose marks to an unfamiliar CBT screen rather than to the questions themselves, she built JambSmartPrep to give UTME candidates the same timed, exam-hall experience at home.

The goal is simple: by exam day, the CBT screen should feel familiar, and you should know exactly which topics still need work.

What you can do on JambSmartPrep

  • Practise in CBT format. Answer past UTME questions on a screen with a countdown timer, a question grid and a calculator, laid out like the exam hall.
  • Sit full mock exams. Choose your four subjects and take 180 questions in two hours, then get a score out of 400 with a breakdown by subject.
  • Practise by subject or by year. Drill one subject at a time, or work through a past paper in its original order.
  • Learn from explanations. Questions come with the working behind the answer, so you understand why an option is correct.
  • Read exam guides. Our articles cover JAMB registration and subject combinations, WAEC and NECO preparation, results, cut-off marks and admission steps.

How we write and check our content

  • Official sources first. Dates, fees, rules and requirements are checked against JAMB, WAEC, NECO and university announcements before we publish.
  • We update when things change. Examination bodies change procedures often. When they do, we revise the affected articles and show the date of the last update.
  • We correct mistakes. If you spot an error, tell us through the Contact page and we will review it promptly.
  • No expo, ever. We do not sell, share or promote leaked questions, “runs” or any form of examination malpractice. Everything here is for legitimate preparation.
