These Terms of Service govern your use of JambSmartPrep (jambsmartprep.com), including its CBT practice, exam guides, comments and forums. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About these terms

JambSmartPrep is an independent educational website run by Freya Amelia from uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean JambSmartPrep, and “you” means anyone who visits or uses the website. These terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.

2. Who can use JambSmartPrep

The website is open to students, parents, teachers and anyone preparing for JAMB UTME, WAEC, NECO or related examinations. If you are under 18, you should use the website with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. You must not use the website if you are under 13.

3. Accounts

Some features, such as saving your practice history or posting in the forums, may require an account. When you create one, you agree to:

  • give accurate information and keep it up to date;
  • keep your password private and not share your account; and

You are responsible for activity on your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

4. Using the CBT practice

Our CBT practice, mock exams, scores and explanations are provided free for personal revision. Practice scores, including projected scores out of 400, are estimates based on your answers on this website. They are not official results and do not guarantee any score in the actual UTME, WAEC or NECO examination.

We review questions, answer keys and explanations carefully, but errors may occur. If you find one, please report it through our Contact page.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, download in bulk or republish our questions, explanations or articles, whether manually or with automated tools;
  • sell, rent or commercially redistribute any part of the website or its content;
  • use the website to promote, sell or share leaked questions, “expo”, “runs”, result upgrades or any form of examination malpractice;
  • post content that is false, misleading, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory or illegal;
  • impersonate any person, including JAMB, WAEC, NECO or school officials;
  • post spam, scams, referral links or unauthorised advertising;
  • attempt to hack, overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the website or other users’ accounts; or
  • use the website in any way that breaks Nigerian law or the law of your country.

6. Comments and forum posts

You keep ownership of the comments and forum posts you write. By posting them, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, store, moderate and reproduce them on the website.

You are responsible for what you post. We may edit, hide or remove any content that breaks these terms, and we are not responsible for opinions expressed by users. Do not post personal details such as your phone number, JAMB registration number or profile password in public areas.

7. Intellectual property

The website’s design, original articles, explanations, practice tools, logo and the JambSmartPrep name belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and use them for personal, non-commercial study, and you may share links to our pages.

Past examination questions remain the property of their respective examination bodies and are used on this website for educational revision. The names JAMB, WAEC and NECO belong to their owners and are used only to identify the examinations we write about. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these bodies.

The website is free and supported by advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads and links to other websites are provided by third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JambSmartPrep and its owners will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, opportunity or admission, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

You agree to cover any losses, claims or costs we suffer because you broke these terms or misused the website, including content you posted.
