This policy explains what personal data JambSmartPrep (jambsmartprep.com) collects, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). If you have questions, email [sm************@***il.com].

Who we are

JambSmartPrep is an independent educational website run by Freya Amelia from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. For this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean JambSmartPrep.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form messages: your name, email address and message.
  • Comments: the name, email and optional website you enter, plus your comment.
  • Accounts and forums: if you register, your username, email address, password (stored encrypted) and any profile details or posts you add.
  • Practice activity: your subject choices, answers, scores and progress in the CBT practice, so you can track improvement. If you practise without an account, this may be stored only in your browser.

Information collected automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting provider records this for security and performance.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored on your device. See the cookie and advertising sections below.

We do not ask for your JAMB profile password, registration PIN, BVN, NIN or bank card details, and we never will.

How we use your information

  • To run the website and the CBT practice, including saving your scores and progress.

  • To show advertising that keeps the site free.
  • To keep the site secure and comply with the law.

Our legal bases under the NDPA are your consent (for example, non-essential cookies), the performance of a service you request (for example, your account), our legitimate interests in running and improving the site, and legal obligations.
